Sky Diving an Extreme Sports for Thrilling Experience

If you need thrills, danger and long, terrifying plunges to the ground than you should try skydiving. This is basically an air game which is comparatively costly and dangerous because of height and involvement of costly instruments.

Physical Requirements

There are several ways you can experience first time in the air. The only requirement for jumping is that you be mature and less than specific weight [250 Pounds]. You should also be free of any heart or severe medical conditions and, if you've got something wrong with you should talk to your doctor before you jump. Someone who has had fainting spells, blackouts or respiratory problems should probably jump or to discuss this with the drop zone staff.

Physical fitness is of utmost importance to participate in this game like other air games along with mental fitness. Person who relates to blood pressure and are overweight are advised not to participate in high-altitude games and sports.

Methods of sky diving

Most skydiving courses work the same way. First, you will get trained by a certified instructor. If you want to jump than you also have to sign the documents that if you get injured than the company will not be responsible and also have to declare that you are physically fit and mentally prepared.

Depending on time, money and courage, you have three options for what method of skydiving you'll use for your first jump

  • Tandem: In this scenario, you are basically strapped onto the trainer and he/she controls the jump from exit to landing. This method requires a little preparation time of about an hour.
  • Static Line: With static line skydiving, a cord attached from the plane to your parachute pulls the parachute open almost immediately after you jump out. The advantage to this method is that you don't have to pull your own rip cord. The disadvantage is that you only get about 3 seconds of freefall.
  • Accelerated Freefall: You pull your own rip cord and you float to the ground solo. Of course, the training usually lasts all day, but this is the method used most frequently for those interested in becoming serious skydivers.

Jump

Sensation of falling is primarily a mental one, causes the sight of things on the earth moving closer. During a freefall, most of feels lots of wind and a small sensation of pressure against body.

When parachute opens, it stretches upwards. It doesn't hurt and lasts only about four seconds. After that, one steers the parachute using simple controls in each hand. Communicating with radio to the ground makes easy to turn your way to the ground.
The landing is usually easy to exercise, but this is to be remembering that most skydiving accidents are caused during landing.

Get licensed

There are four skydiving licenses as basic, intermediate, advanced, and master which enable to work as an instructor to select this interesting field as a carrier option.
