Baseball

Baseball is a game played between two teams of nine players each. The game is divided into nine innings, each divided into two halves. The players of one team successively come to bat and attempt to score runs, while the other team plays in the field and attempt to stop the offensive team from scoring. Basketball

Basketball is athletic sport, usually played on an indoor court in which two competing teams of five layers each attempt to score by throwing an inflated ball so that it descends through one of two baskets suspended, at each end of the court, above their heads. Although basketball can be played outdoors, it was invented to serve as an exciting indoor exercise. Because of its continuous action and frequent scoring, basketball is one of the most popular spectator as well as participant sports in the world.

Billiards, Pool and Snooker

These games are played on rectangular tables twice as long as they are wide, with balls propelled by tapered, leather-tipped rods called cues. Lining the perimeter of the tables are rubber cushions from which the balls rebound. Balls, once made of ivory, are now composed of a hard compound. The white ball that the player strikes with the tip of the cue is the cue ball. Other balls, which may be colored, are called object balls.

Cricket

Cricket is a bat and ball sport, played between two teams of eleven players each on a grass field roughly oval in shape, in the center of which is a pitch having wickets at each end. Bowler propels a leather ball from one wicket towards the other. Batsman defends the wicket from the ball with cricket bat. The batsman runs between the wickets to score runs and field is saved from the boll for crossing by fielders. It is well common and most played in the countries including Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and West Indian nations etc and the most popular one.

Hockey

It’s played mainly in clubs both by women and men. Many people grow up with hockey at school and it can offer a lifetime of both social and sporting opportunities for players, administrators and officials alike. The rules are very similar to those of football except that players use sticks instead of their feet to move the ball.
