Hair Care Tips for Beautiful and Long Hairs

Most people who bleach their hair do so with hydrogen peroxide. If the peroxide is repeatedly applied, it may make the hair brittle. If this happens the hair may turn rough, develop split ends, or become thinned or shortened.

Any tension/stress can bring about disorders of the scalp. This could be a cause of the dandruff you have been fighting.

Hair needs Vitamin E for shine. You can get this much-needed vitamin by incorporating brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables into your diet.

Shine Different Hair Types

  • Fine Hair: Look for a shampoo that has wheat proteins and polymers as ingredients.
  • Normal Hair: Use a shampoo that has silk amino acids.
  • Thick Coarse Hair: The best shine enhancers for this type of hair are old-fashioned pomades.

If you have long hairs than towel your hair dry and then it pull up on the top of your head. Secure with a fat "elastic" and then blow-dry the scalp hair until it is dry.

So, the foods to Avoid include too many sweets, chocolate, cakes and cookies and replace them by fresh fruits and vegetables.

Hair Drying and Brush

The worst thing you can do if you color your own hair is to apply the permanent color throughout your hair every time you color.

Allow hair to fall while brushing. Using only a wooden base natural bristle brush, bring hair from the nape of the neck over the head and down to the ends. Then, stand straight again with hair falling normally and brush from the underside of the hairline down the strands to the ends.

Brush only when dry. Hair is weakest when it is wet and brushing can easily damage it. Even when hair is dry, always comb before brushing.

Dry Hair

Hair normally has moisture content of approximately 10%. If your hair’s moisture content drops below this level the key is to increase the hair’s ability of attract and retain moisture. This is accomplished by using moisturizers.

Hair Split Ends

The problem of split ends occurs when the cuticle is damaged and the fibers of the cortex unravel. This happens because of chemicals, neglect and harsh treatment. Conditioner will not fix this problem. You will need to have the split ends cut off.

Handle Dandruff

Dandruff is made up of bits of dead skin that peel away from the scalp as a result of the effects of metabolism. Normally, dandruff, in its early stages of growth, is not visible to the naked eye. It becomes visible only after enlarging into pieces of dead skin as a result of the propagation of bacteria.

Persons who suffer from persistent, hard-to-cure dandruff are urged to consult a skin specialist.
Get rid of dandruff by pouring Vinegar into the hair, massaged into the scalp, and left to dry for a few minutes.  Then wash hairs. The process is to be repeated daily until the dandruff disappears, usually within a few days.

Hair Straightening

  • Wash and condition hair.
  • Blot dry Hair should be almost dry when you begin.
  • Use dryer to dry hairs.
  • Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head.
  • Follow the brush down the sections of hair as you straighten each section.
  • Work your way up the layers until all sections are dried and straightened.
  • To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under.
